Every child has jaundice when they take birth after that they decide Dr is going to decide whether the child is meant to be kept in phototherapy or not so if it is little also you should still check with your doctor and expose your child into indirect sunlight two times in the day for good absorption of vitamin D and reducing the jaundice levels
