#asktheexperts Goodmorning Doctor! My son's molar teeth are erupting & he keeps putting something or the other in mouth these days. Sometimes becomes cranky too. Doctor! please suggest oral care to be taken (including diet) during this period that helps to soothe him

A. Thank you for the suggestion Pooja 😊 I wanted to try that but since he has recently recovered from cold not so sure about trying it!

A. Cold or frozen foods such as carrots, bananas, or apples can be safe items for your baby to gum or gnaw on. Foods should be monitored and given in a mesh or silicone teether to prevent larger pieces from getting into your baby's mouth. A slightly frozen washcloth is a favorite of many parents.
