#asktheexperts good morning sir my baby is 13 months old from last few he suffered with severe cough and cough with running nose also along with medicine I gave nebulization also he is not taking solid food he loose his weight above 1kg

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as wezll as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add zmultivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
