#asktheexperts Good morning, Doctor! Actually I've been noticing lately that whenever I mix cow milk in my 16 months old food she get hiccups. Is it normal?

hiccups is normal and common
caused by no apparent reason mainly due to stimulation of the diaphragm muscles
child may get if has fed too quickly or even when laughing out aloud
