Q.

#asktheexperts Good evening ma'am/sir My baby is 47 days old. His birth weight is 3.02 kgs, now he is 3.7 kgs. He is on combination feed ( formula only once/ day 60ml). His urine output is 6-8 times / day. Is his weight gain and urine output normal?

A. Hello my dear parent! There should be a minimum weight gain of 400 of hundred grams per month in the first few months after birth. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration and weight gain. Regularly massage a baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Speak to your doctor for further guidance.
