Q.

#asktheexperts foul smelling stools in my 1 year 9 months baby, with decreased appetite. what would be the reason and how to manage?

A. constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also .give more liquids. giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid bananargg which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help,give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.

A. Hi mommy Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly
