Q.

#asktheexperts For 8 days my 1 year old baby girl is suffering from fever. Paediatrician asked for blood reports and malaria test. The tests reports are enclosed herewith. Malaria is negative and haemoglobin is 8mg/dl. Whenever paracetamol is given her fever is ok but after 5-6 hours fever comes back. Doctor gave Lactic acid bacillus along with azithromycin antibiotics with paracetamol every 6 hours. Tomorrow we will go for checkup don’t know what’s wrong.

A. if child is taking breastfeeding , prefer it to offer more frequently ,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial Infections.

A. hi sir , fever is reaction of body to Infection so frequent fever indicates that your child is having some infection. so please have talk with your pediatrician for once. at home rub onion slices on your child chest and back which will surely help to cure fever offer homemade healthy food but avoid overfeeding give Luke warm water with pinch of salt and Tulsi leaves in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours.
