#asktheexperts Doctor, my younger daughter is 2 years and 11 months old. She talks only single words, not full sentences yet. She understands what we say and follows instructions, but she is not forming sentences on her own. Is this normal for her age, or should I be concerned?

A. You have to teach your child to connect to words to frame sentence and over the period only the child is going to learn so but currently there is no problem in that case you just have to practice with your child and you will see a difference over the period
