#asktheexperts Doctor my baby girl is 7 months old and suffering from Nasal congestion for last two month and last can't sleep properly pls suggest how to cure it though using nasal drops four times a day as per doctor advised but doesn't work.

A. Doctor, Thanks actually she is born at Katni Madhya Pradesh but due to transfer now I am in west bengal and it has been observed after changing place she is suffering from cough & cold and can I use humidifier in my room and how to use and what's the dose of nasal drops in each time

A. it is important to keep the child hydrated. anti cold medicines are not given without medical consultation what you can give now is nasal saline drops which is salt water and can be given again and again to decrease nasal blockage as well as cough and cold try to prevent temperature variations around the child and keep the child well covered.s can give indirect steam inhalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. d
