Q.

#asktheexperts doctor my 18 mnths old not started talking yet he only say No,dificulty in understanding words,i repeat many tyms but he dsnt say any word only babling which i dont understand he dsnt concertrate is there any issue to be worried

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 2 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech understanding of of of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor

U Can you check with us be set up is a doctor would be able to give you better clarity on that after assessing the child so it would be a good idea because you at least be sure about it as to what is the reason and once you know the reason it would be easier for you to work in that direction to consult a speech therapist once
