#asktheexperts Doctor, how often should a 4M old nap during the day? My baby is mostly awake and gets cranky at one point and it becomes very difficult to make him sleep. when he is cranky he is refusing to nurse too.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is cogymfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
