#asktheexperts Dear expert, My baby still doesn't sleep entire nights. He keeps getting up every 3 hours or so. also shakes his head just before going to sleep. is this normal ?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. room temperature to be maintained properly in the house feeding of the baby well. vgThere is lot of individual variation in the sleeping pattern of small babies before coming to a particular sleeping pattern no need to worry about this at present if the baby is taking feeding properly and otherwise active

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Sleeping pattern in children may be variable in different age group so if the baby is active and taking proper feeding with no other complaints most of the time there is nothing to worry.
You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older children a proper discipline is required sgo that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper timej try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.
