Q.

#asktheexperts Dear Expert, My 1 month baby hiccups a lot immediately after feeding (even after burp) and it stays for long. Also doesn't drink sufficient milk. Sometimes pukes out too. Kindly suggest.

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stommach. during the feeding process child takes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

A. Hi parent please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed please give daily massage with Babyhug massage oil please give daily sun light exposure
