#asktheexperts could you please confirm that PCV2 vaccine is optional or mandatory. it is not given to my baby n when I asked about this doctor told me that it is optional.

A. when you are following government schedule it is optional but when you are following private vaccination schedule then you have to give the second dosage You will get more information for your query with your family doctor. You may meet your dr in person for proper guidance . It is important to remain in contact with your doctor.
