Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk c or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day
Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom...you can give variety of porridges made up of different cereals..you can even give khichdi or dal chawal. even fresh fruits boiled veggies can also be included.
