Q.

#asktheexperts baby sweating during feeding time is it normal

A. It is quite normal for a baby to sweat while breastfeeding. If the feeding room is cramped, stuffy and without ventilation then the warm environment makes the baby sweat more while feeding. If the baby is wearing too many layers of clothes, he might sweat more. Suckling needs a lot of energy. The movement of the jaw while suckling is a kind of exercise for the baby. The close skin to skin contact with the mother increases the baby's body temperature.
