Q.

#asktheexperts baby is 40 days old and is sleeping only for 12-13 hours. Is it ok ? she is having lot of gas and nose is also blocked

A. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. prroper burping after each feed is very important. Enzyme preparavtions like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

A. good morning it is probably because of blocked nose at the child is not able to sleep comfortably I would recommend that you should apply baby Vicks rub on the nose avoid exposure after that
