Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour.
Colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age.
The usually start after 3 weeks of age.
You can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child iss crying for more than 15 to 20 minutes due to colic pain.
Limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help.
To prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes afters every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping becauses all the gas is not removed after one burping.

Most issues related to a baby not sleeping are caused by temporary things like illness, teething, developmental milestones or changes in routine — so the occasional sleep snafu likely isn't anything to worry about.
