Stool- it is very common and normal for small children who are less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also also sometimes children will pass stool 7 or 8 times per day also and tthat is also normal and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour of stool
you will have to meet your doctor if the consistency is very watery and the child is uncomfortable or there is blood in the stool
Also straining while passing urine and stool is normal

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hello dear. Keep monitoring.. Because color of poo doesn't matter more. Only if it's black or red you should be concerne and check with doocor. Else check for consistency. Normal type is fine. If consistency is watery or foamy or smelly then it is important to check with your doctor. Otherwise it's fine
