Q.

#asktheexperts baby baby is suffering from gas problem regularly , she is 4 months old and whenever she is facing gas problem she is crying a lot and not pooping for one two days . can you please suggest me what should I do? I even tried colic drops too but of no use

A. you can give colic medicine but the important thing is that you have to do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every food intake that is after every feeding for the child. one burping will not help in decreasing the gas which is present in the stomach. also regular massage will help in decreasing the colic pain

A. Hello dear parent! Exclusively breastfed babies might not be passing stools even for a week and it is normal as long as your child is active and healthy. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Burp the baby after every feed. Do cycling movements with both the baby’s legs to relieve from gastric discomfort. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
