Q.

#asktheexperts At what age do autistic child speaks, at present my son is diagnosed with mild autism spectrum, his ABA therapy is going on. Can you give me information so that we can follow that. Thank You.

A. Hello.. it differs from child to child as its depends on his grasping power, but i didn't get you like if he has ASD or behavior issues? For behavioral issues aba therapy is given or are you giving him the therapy to sit at one place? that can be done with OT. For Autism mostly Occupational therapy and speech therapy are given. After giving speech therapy for 3-6 months maybe possibility is there that he can start speaking. Kindly check with your child development center again about it or get assessments from another CDC.
