#asktheexperts at my 36th week scan doctor told that single loop of chord is seen. and after that my baby movement is more will it cause extra loop of chord to the baby.

A. Hello good afternoon !! Single loop have chances to get normal during the baby movement also once the baby starts gaining weight baby have small space to move so double loop cords have less chances. During the labour also there are few chances to unwrap the cord ,so don't worry.

Q. I loss my baby in 34 weeks. After delivery came to know that cord got surrounded in neck and leg. Because of in leg, while kicking or moving the loop in neck strangulated. In my last scan they said there is single loop in neck and not mentioned the loop in leg. Only loop in neck will be visible???Loop in leg will not be seen in scan??? Someone can tell?
