#asktheexperts are ipv and opv different? If we miss IPV ??

A. Yes they are different. Ipv is given as an injection and contains an inactivated virus. Opv is given as drops and contains a weakened live virus. If you have missed the dose, then don't panic just contact you doctor and get it scheduled asap!

A. OPV’s oral polio vaccine in IPV is injection so you can get done any which is there for you available to be done you can go ahead with that it’s important that you get any of the two done every year twice as it is mentioned and for at least five years of age
