#asktheexperts After bottle feeding my baby is doing toilet immediately…and it looks like diarrhea…he is 5 & half month old…what is the reason behind it and how to stop this? Please help…we are little worried

A. Hi, five month old baby will take around 150 ML of milk once in every two hours. So check your breast milk quantity if your breast milk quantity is 60 ML so you need to give 90 ML of top feed like this vice versa so first check your breast milk quantity based on that you can give the top feed. Always breast feed first and then give the bottle feed. Make sure to sterilise the bottle after every use. If the bottle is not sterilised properly it will lead to infection and baby will have diarrhoea. So if You feel Baby is having diarrhoea and got infection. please consult your paediatrician and start with a medicine.
