Q.

#asktheexperts Aditi's milk teeth haven't started falling out, but she got the new permanent teeth. Front 2 incisors had to be removed by the dentist as she got them even before the milk teeth fell out. Due to this, she is now scared of going to the dentist. Still, other milk teeth are also not wiggling. She will be 7 years old this month. What can be done to let the milk teeth fall out naturally.

A. Hi consult with your nearest pediatric dentist for early removal of milk teeth to prevent malalignment of the newly erupting permanent teeth. or try to remove wiggly teeth by finger pressure

A. See the process will start any time after the age of 4 1/2 years and sometimes the Mili teeth don’t fall so you’ll have to get them extracted only if the other ones are also coming and the previous ones have not fallen down then you’ll have to go to a dentist I agree that your child may be scared but you’ll have to give counselling to the child
