Q.

#asktheexperts Aadvika affected by fever two times in last 1 month ..n after fever there was cough n runny nose .the whole recovery time was 3 days fever n 7 days cough n cold.plz advice any change or reason of infection

A. seasons change is the main reason. You can help prevent your child from colds by- -Clean your hands. -Avoid close contact to your child with people who have colds or other upper respiratory infections. - Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing in front of baby. - Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. - Don’t smoke and avoid agarbatti Or incense stick .

A. hi dear Do not give infants under 1 year honey; it will not help with symptoms and can cause a sickness called infant botulism. For children 1 year and older: Use honey, 2 to 5 mL, as needed. The honey thins the mucus and loosens the cough. (If you do not have honey, you can use corn syrup).
