Garlic can be introduced around eight months if your baby is comfortable with all other basic foods. But garlic can also cause allergic reaction or cause tummy discomfort or indigestion which can reflect in the form of vomiting, swelling or diarrhea. Every baby is different and can react to garlic differently. So start with small piece of garlic and include it with a food which baby is already comfortable with so that u can find if garlic suits ur baby. Gradually u can add One garlic clove per day in the baby's food. Similarly start onions gradually. Always follow the two day gap rule between introducing new foods.
