Q.

#asktheexperts 4.5months old baby feeding fully on formula. Poop is greenish always. Is this normal?

A. yes that's fine the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.

A. Hello dear parent! Exclusively formula fed babies sometimes tend to pass green stools. As long as your baby is healthy and active, no blood or foul smell in the stools then it is alright. Consult your doctor for further advice. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
