POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy6 months agoA. Your baby may burp 10 minutes after feeding for a few reasons:
Air swallowed during feeding: Babies tend to swallow air while feeding, either from breast milk or formula, which can get trapped in the stomach. It may take a little time for the air to rise and be released as a burp.
Feeding position: If your baby is lying down or feeding in a position that encourages swallowing air, it could lead to delayed burping.
Feeding pace: If the baby is feeding slowly or is distracted, they might swallow more air, causing burping to occur later.
If your baby seems comfortable after burping and isn't fussy or gassy, there's usually no reason to worry. You can try gently patting or rubbing their back during or after feeding to encourage burping.
