#AskTheExpert Why does a 56-day-old baby sometimes cry loudly while drinking milk and have a dark yellow stool in juice-consistency?

A. Hello dear parent! Can be due to colic issues. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Burp the baby after every feed. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, no blood or foul smell in the stools then nothing to worry. If you are still concerned then consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
