Q.

#AskTheExpert. While feeding solid to my 9 months baby, he will vomit out if he feel a small chunk of food in throat. I try to grind as much as possible but dont know why he is not able to swallow small chunks.

A. hi dear Just like adults of any age can have acid reflux or GERD, some babies have infant reflux. This can lead to baby vomiting in the first weeks or months of your baby's life. Vomiting from acid reflux happens when the muscles at the top of the stomach are too relaxed. This triggers baby vomiting shortly after feeding
