Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. yes 5 ml can be. Fever is temperature more than 99. Give paracetamol for fever and can be given times in a day . If temperature does not comes down then sponging can be done or if baby not looking well then need to see a doctor .

If the problem persists even after medication then it needs further medical evaluation. Try giving a light sponge bath to reduce the intensity of the fever. Good luck and take care.
