Q.

#asktheexpert when we can start solids for baby. my baby is 5 mnths old now. and we are not planning for formula milk. we feel he is not getting enuf milk.

A. Hello ma’am If you do not have sufficient breastfeed then it would be advisable to give formula feed to your child because it is mostly recommended to breastfeed the child for initial six months and once your child completes the age of six months and enters the seventh one that is the right time when you can introduce such semisolid food to your child so as of now it would be best to continue with breastfeed only
