Hello ma’am There is no just ideal time the regular time I would say somewhere on 2 1/2 to 3 years if you can continue breastfeeding your child some women do it for more than three years also it is completely your choice. So if you want you can continue breastfeeding your child at least till the age of three years and if you want to discontinue now also you can
