As baby's weight depends on birth weight, we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at 1 year.
small deviation is absolutely fine.
you can include variety of homecooked foods like porridge, nuts paste, boiled and smashed potato, pulses and sprouts, smashed banana, chikko, fruits puree, vegetables puree, roti or paratha smashed, soft cooked and smashed khichdi, pancake, chila, sheera, etc and use ghee in his meal preparations.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours.
follow Good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
