#AskTheExpert What will be the ideal diet for a 5months old boy who has lactose intolerance? Kindly suggest.

A. it may vary in all kids. its better if you can consult your paediatrician or some dietitian for proper examination of the child and take a proper diet chart which can be followed easily

A. yoghurt – the bacteria in yoghurt breaks down the lactose so it's usually fine for your child to eat. calcium-fortified soy products – soy yoghurt, soy milk, soy ice-cream and soy cheese. lactose-free cow's milk. butter and cream – these contain only small amounts of lactose and are usually fine to eat.
