Q.

#asktheexpert what type of poop is normal for a 13 month old and how many times can she poop. Is keeping a 14 month old comletely off milk harmful?

A. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool. the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also. also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when stool consistencyx is semisolid to solid. you have to meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Baby can poop 4-5 times in a day. Poop should not be watery or too tight. Please give eggs and chicken to the baby. Also give chicken soup to the baby. Please give banana shake and ragi porrige to the baby. Please give lots of green vegetables and dairy products and soaked almonds to the baby on daily basis. Please limit soda and juices and high fat foods like chips or biscuits or cakes etc. Thanks and take care
