Dark circles can be caused due to iron deficiency, anaemia, eczema, sleep deprivation, accidental or non accidental trauma, abnormal skin pigmentation, nose congestion, contact dermatitis, fatigue, allergies, excessive exposure to the sun, food allergies etc. Ask your child to take a lot of rest to combat fatigue. Use cool tea bags on your child's eyes. Use cucumber slices on the eyes. You can even put a cold spoon on top of your child's eyes. Give iron rich foods like spinach. Massage your child's eyelids gently while closed. Maintain a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet. Control screen time.
