Baby can speak simple sentences of 2-3 words at 20-24 months of age.some baby achieve these at early and some may be delay in achieving that.No need to worry for that

and at 2 to 3 yrs babies start to speak the fluently..
encourage the baby ...more and more...
break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after you..
let the baby mingle with same age grps...
