Q.

#AskTheExpert What precautions to take for first vaccination ? opting for normal (Not painless) ..so any fever syrup can u prescribe ? in case if pain or swelling what needs to be done please advice

A. As the correct approach, before you give any kind of medication you should always consult your treating doctor once for knowing about the proper indication,dosage of the medicine and duration upto which dose needs to given in a properr way.

A. hi Before Vaccine ,I advise to keep your child stomach full ,I mean he should not be hungry. and dress your child lightly. second ,after Vaccination ,yes he may get fever ,you can give peracetamol drops for this ,if fever is high (around 100f or above) try cool pack on injected site , it will definitely help to reduce and cure pain , redness , swelling after Vaccination.
