Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradufally increased up till at least three meals in a daybn

Once you baby turned six months old then you can start giving solids and water to your baby. In starting given very less quantity because let you baby start accepting solids. At a time you can give 5 to 10 spoons. You can start giving Dal Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruit puree. And with the time you can increase the food item in babies regular diet plan.
