you can give eggs.
Can give non veg foods like chicken fish
Add powdered nuts (almond cashew nut walnut) to food
avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups and fruit juices as they do not provide enough nutrition and fill stomach.
add ghee/oil on top of food for making it energy dense and squeeze some lemon where possible to increase iron absorption.
about 3/4 katori per meal about 3-4 meals per day.
continue to breastfeed
you can start giving finger foods in between meals. avoid foods that can choke like grapes, nuts and raw carrot pieces. give pieces of soft fruits like banana, chickoo, foods like idli, dhokla (fermented foods are healthy) , besan chila, upma, stuffed paratha pieces, peanut butter bread
NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello you can be giving your child 3 meals along with snacks and you may give your child home made cerelac and also rice kanji khicadi dal upma idly dosa which are good along with fruits and vegetables and green leafy vegetables puree which can help in kids growth
