ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Breast feeding should be done at least till two years of age . As this is the time which is needed for a baby to learn to eat properly.. So to maintain good health it is being advised that breast feeding should be continued till two years of age you should stop breastfeeding very slowly so has to avoid any chances of breast engorgement

You should quit a little bit from the age of 18 months because by the age of two years we expect you to quit breastfeeding totally on your comfort but two years is good enough to introduce a complimentary feeding alongside so that whenever you decide to quit it would be easier for you
