#asktheexpert What is generalised epilepsy and how much dangerous it is. And is it safe to go for 3 t MRI for a child who is 3.5 years old ?

A. Does this goes by the age and wait or should i start the medicines. Are the medicines safe. Dr. Adviced divaa 250 2.5 ml twice. I haven’t started yet. What do you advice.

A. there are localised and generalised form of epilepsy yes MRI is relatively safe compared to CT scan. if there is no improvement it is advisable to consult your doctor for proper physical examination and if there is need to do any investigations both for diagnosis and management
