soft and mashed food
consistency of food should be like that of Ghee
avoid fruit juice and soup
you can begin with food like homemade cerelac, cereal pulse, porridge, kheer, cooked seasonal vegetable puree or add to food like khichdi, vegetable Dal rice.
seasonal fruits, curd, paneer.
add Ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible
give top food two to three times a day and beginning with few teaspoon then up to half katori every time
continue to breastfeed baby.
if your baby has doubled the birth weight by 6 months and is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 6 to 8 times in 24 hours then do not worry.
NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello some babies can be slow weight gainers and if the baby is active then weight is not a problem and make sure to give your child healthy and nutritious well balanced food in the diet and include home made cerelac and ragi potatoes and sweet potatoes avacadoes banana curds etc
