Q.

#asktheexpert weight gain is slow. he was born at 36 weeks pre mature. He is 4.7 kg now at 3 months. Any advice or is it normal

A. hi mom weight seems to be fine exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age is advised by 6 months babies weight almost dpubles by his birth weight

A. it is normal dear no need to worry breastfeeding helps to increase weight feed between 2 -3 hours for 20mins or express milk using pump and use bottle to feed then you can understand how much milk your baby intake.

A. It’s a healthy weight gain for a three month old child I do not know what was the birth rate of the child but if your child has gained at least a minimum of 1200 g to 1500 g in these three months that means the growth is going good for the child
