Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. hiccups in big children usually occur due to acidity as well as gas in the stomach and intestine odf the child.
it is important to give plenty of water to drink as well as easily digestible food made at home.
it is self limiting problem and will decrease but if it is occurring again and dagain then it is advisable to complete a course of antacid.
