#AskTheExpert The pediatrician has prescribed Kidrich D3 drops and Zincovit drops 0.5 ml each once a day for 1 year. is it ok ?

A. you can continue Vitamin D supplements but if the weight of the child is within normal limits and the growth is proper then there is no need to give multivitamin supplements to the child

A. Hello ma’am Yes of course it is okay because for initial six months it is anyway is prescribed to go for multivitamins and iron syrup and if your doctor has given it for one year then your doctor must have given it as per your child situation so it is perfectly alright so continue giving this medication for one year and after that you can consult your paediatrician whether you need to continue with it or you can discontinue it
