#AskTheExpert stomach problem for my daughter from 2 days and also fever... so plz suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children.
But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also hibe ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is alsdo helpful .
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

keep baby well hydrated
apply coconut oil on baby tummy area and gently massage in circular motion
