#asktheexpert Sir, our 1 month old baby has patches on face and body. before developing patches baby had pimples across the body. can you please let me know, if it happens because heat or any other issues.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly apply moisturizing lotion (any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc ) or virgin coconut oil on the skin 4 to 5 times per day and if the problem still continues for more than two weeks then meet your doctor.
use moisturizing soap.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin.
avoid using hard water for bxath.
for excessive dry and skin peeling please apply moisturizing cream / lotion at more frequent interval to control the condition and then decrease the frequency.
